Brian Black, President

I have lived in Heritage since 2003.  I graduated in 1997 from the University of Texas at Austin with a BA in Sociology.  I am a claim representative in the Special Investigative Unit at State Farm.  My wife Kim and I have two children, Brayden (3) and Brianne (6).  I enjoy playing golf and have been a high school basketball official for the last 17 years.

Alan Blaylock, Vice President

Alan has lived in Heritage since 2010 with his wife Mindy and daughters Taryn (age 11) and Brenna (age 9). Alan has a long history of volunteering, and has volunteered continuously since moving into the neighborhood. He served on the Eagle Ridge Elementary School PTA Board during the 2011 and 2012 school years and on the Heritage Pool and Sports Committee since 2012. Alan has also coordinated the Heritage Hurricane Swimming Team for the past two years. A native Fort Worthian, Alan’s education took him through FWISD, TCC and TCU. He is formally trained as a Project Manager and has broad international experience.

I live in the Cape Cod community with my wife Linda.  I am a retired college professor and she is a retired RN.  We have 6 children, 7 grandchildren with 2 more due this year.  We take care of two of the grandchildren that live in the area 5 days a week. 

I retired from Tarrant County College after 12 years of teaching Accounting, 3 years ago.  Prior to that, we lived in Las Vegas where I was the financial manager for a large Cardiology Practice.  Prior to being affiliated with the medical practice, I lived in New Orleans and worked for an international accounting firm.  I am a retired CPA.

I presently serve on the Budget committee for the HOA and am treasurer for the Heritage Poker Club.

Seana Sowell, Secretary

Seana Sowell is a Residential and Commercial Real Estate Consultant at RE/MAX Trinity with a Bachelor of Arts in Architectural Studies from Judson University in Illinois and a Masters of Architecture with a concentration in Design and Practice Management from Lawrence Technological University in Michigan.  She currently serves on the ACC committee for Heritage, where she was appointed 2 years ago.  Seana also previously worked for the Oakland County Michigan Parks and Recreation for over 5 years.  Her background in architecture and city planning has given her a unique ability to understand how the careful planning, design and maintenance of communities and neighborhoods can not only maintain property values, but can also improve quality of life.

Seana is a strong proponent of community and has been a volunteer with the Make-A-Wish Foundation and Habitat for Humanity Dallas.  She has also previously served as a volunteer coordinator and as an Auction Chair for the San Diego Architectural Foundations Orchids and Onions, which aims to educate the public about architecture and foster good design.

Harry White, Jr., Director

Harry lives in the Trinity neighborhood of Heritage and has lived in Heritage for 4 years. His education, professional training, and experiences were earned in Chicago, Illinois. He retired as the Director of the Purchasing Department from the Art Institute of Chicago. Harry earned his Bachelors of Arts Degree at Loyola University. He was trained in Management in Leadership in Administration, Finance, and Budgets while at U.S. Steel Corporation.
